Christ the Source of Joy Ministries, pastored by Rev. Sunday Daniel Adewuyi, has a rich history that dates back to the 1990s.

In 2001, the ministry secured a permanent site, where it built a structure affectionately known as "parko." However, it wasn't long before God led them to build a more magnificent edifice, which was dedicated in 2006 by Bishop Orinname Oyonude Kure, then the PFN chairman in Edo State. Since then, Christ the Source of Joy Ministries has experienced numerous manifestations of God's grace, growing into a modernized church with state-of-the-art facilities.

Today, the ministry is a household name in the global Christian community, with branches in Warri (Orokpe community), Abuja FCT, and two additional branches in Benin City. The church boasts a modern auditorium in Warri and offers three powerful services weekly: Wednesday Bible Study, Friday Prayer Rain, and Sunday Celebration Service. Each month, the church observes a dedicated program schedule, including Word Revelational Services, Healing and Deliverance Services with free medical check-ups, Revival Services, and Thanksgiving Services.
